Barium Titanate Slips
An example of the quality of a multilayer chip capacitor (MLCC) dispersion
(or slip) prepared using Five Star's process is shown below. Processing time for
accomplishing this is on the order of minutes whereby conventional milling
processes take numerous hours and in many cases days.
Ceramic Slip for Tape Casting
The optical micrographs below show a conventional barium titanate capacitor
slip before and after PMT processing. The Five Star material exhibits an
exceptionally uniform dispersion.

Barium Titanate (BaTiO3) Green Tapes
The following photos display the exceptional dispersion uniformity that can
be provided in Five Star materials. The photo on the left presents the
dispersion quality of difficult-to-disperse BaTiO3 material processed for 20
hours by conventional ball milling. The second photo shows the same material
after PMT processing, demonstrating Five Star's ability to provide extremely
uniform dispersions.
