Five Star's ElectroSperse pastes are ideally suited for demanding display formats such as capacitive touch screens and multi-touch resistive touch sensors, flexible PCB connectors, display electrodes and busbars. All ElectroSperse pastes contain a highly uniform dispersion of conductive fillers with a tightly controlled particle size distribution, enabling customers to directly print features as small as 60 µm with much greater precision and consistency than possible with conventional pastes.

The competitive edge offered by ElectroSperse pastes for capacitive touch sensors, especially, has been buttressed by over two years of exhaustive sampling and qualification trials with leading manufacturers. ElectroSperse pastes have emerged unsurpassed in their ability to produce straight, tight-pitch, ultra-fine lines—ideal for next-generation capacitive display-sensor designs. In addition, ElectroSperse pastes, when substituted for costly, subtractive thin film processes, have demonstrated significantly lower production costs.

Designed specifically for display applications on low-temperature plastic substrates, ElectroSperse P-Series pastes are polymer thick film grades ideal for electrodes and thin border interconnect patterns. P-Series pastes deliver consistent rheology for high-yield printing, the ability to print ultra-fine-pitch patterns, good conductivity and adhesion to a wide variety of ITO/PET substrates. ElectroSperse D-series cermet pastes are high conductivity grades designed for firing onto glass substrates. D-series pastes include lead-free, RoHS-compliant products as well as low-fire grades ideal for minimizing ITO resistance shift, combining exceptional conductivity with fine-pitch printing and strong adhesion to all ITO/glass substrates.
